How soft washing works
Rather than blasting the surface, soft washing applies a suitable cleaning solution at low pressure, allows it to work on organic growth, and rinses gently. Moss and staining lift without hammering the roof covering.

Soft washing uses low pressure and appropriate treatments instead of force. On many older UK roofs it is the sensible choice — and it is why we never claim that every roof should be pressure washed.
When soft washing is the right choice
Period slate, handmade clay tiles, fragile or porous coverings and roofs with existing wear usually call for a softer approach. Roof condition, age and material always decide the method.
